Surgery Systems Live 2026 is a one-day pan-specialty conference at the ICC Birmingham on Tuesday 24 November 2026, on how technology, data and system design can create safer, smarter and more sustainable operating theatres.
The programme runs across two tracks. The Main Stage carries keynotes, panels and evidence from national leaders in surgical systems, data and technology. The Lab is hands-on: emerging technology you can try, with the people building it in the room. Themes across the day are data, innovation and implementation; technology, value and decision-making; and data, performance and practice.
The meeting is open to surgeons, trainees, anaesthetists, theatre teams, researchers, industry and anyone working on how the operating theatre functions as a whole. Registration is from £49 and includes catering, the exhibition and the evening drinks reception. Attendance carries RCS England CPD points.
Registration and coffee open at 08:30, the programme runs 09:00 to 17:35, and the drinks reception continues until 19:00. Abstract submissions close at 17:00 on 30 September 2026.
