To provide its core functionality, Surge requires the following permissions:
Vibration: Used to provide haptic feedback during workout transitions (e.g., when a "Work" or "Rest" period ends).
Wake Lock (Keep Screen On): Used to prevent your device's screen from turning off while a workout timer is active, ensuring you can see the countdown.
Internet Access: While the app assets are stored locally, standard Android system components (WebView) may require this permission. We do not use this to collect or transmit user data.

Surge does not include any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cloud synchronization services. Your data is not shared with any third parties.

Our app does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
