During the summer of 2021, my 16 year old brother was surfing in Hawaii, when he felt some pain in his back. After about 15 minutes, he lost all feeling in his legs. He later got diagnosed with Surfer's Myelopathy. When my parents were trying to find information about it, they couldn't find much except for complicated medical information online.

I'm a Girl Scout Cadette, and for my Silver Award I wanted to create a video and website about Surfer's Myelopathy to help others learn about the condition that is easy to understand and to provide useful links with practical information for people who need it.
