Prof. Leena Nebhani is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), specializing in polymer chemistry and materials science. She brings strong academic and industrial expertise, having previously worked as a Senior Scientist at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, USA. Prof. Nebhani earned her PhD from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and her MTech from IIT Delhi. She is a recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award and the Prof. K. Kishore Memorial Award, and holds multiple US patents. Her research effectively bridges fundamental polymer science with scalable and translational technologies.

Prof. Nebhani leads the Surface and Macromolecular Chemistry Laboratory in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. Her research group focuses on diverse areas of polymer and materials chemistry, with particular emphasis on the synthesis of hybrid functionalized polymers and advanced materials. The group aims to engineer materials with tailored physicochemical properties using orthogonal and controlled polymerization techniques, and has extensive experience in the design of engineered materials.
