Workshop on surfaces in 4-manifolds

In this workshop, we aim to bring together researchers and students to discuss topics around surfaces in 4-manifold topology. Our goal is to discuss the different notions of equivalence for surfaces in 4-manifolds and to understand how these notations are related to each other. 

We will have every day an introductory talk in the morning, a lot of time to discuss and work in small groups in the afternoon, and perhaps a research talk to cap off the day. 

The talks and topics discussed in the afternoon will be accessible to advanced master students.
