Research Group 

The Power Electronics and Electric Drives Research Group (PEDRG) at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, is engaged in cutting-edge research in electric vehicle motor drives, power electronics, renewable energy systems, digital control, embedded systems, FPGA-based controllers, and intelligent control of electrical machines.

The research group currently supervises 2 Full-Time Ph.D. scholars and 3 Part-Time Ph.D. scholars, in addition to M.Tech and B.Tech project students.
