Surasree Pal is currently pursuing her doctoral research as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF) under supervision of Dr. Agneyo Ganguly at the Biophysics and Molecular Biology Laboratory, Department of Biotechnology at IIT Kharagpur. 

She is an enthusiastic and highly dedicated scholar, an excellent educator and academic content creator. Her area of research includes replication forks, helicases and single-strand DNA binding proteins. She is excited to explore the molecular mechanisms of RecQ helicases in context of replication fork remodelling.

She is also an avid traveller, Bharatnatyam dancer and a photography enthusiast.
