Scientists in Germany have demonstrated a new surveillance technology capable of identifying individuals using ordinary WiFi signals. By analyzing how radio waves bounce around a room, researchers can recognize people with near-perfect accuracy, even when they are not carrying any device and even if their phone is turned off.
