About Me
It brings me great joy to share a little about myself with you. My journey in the industry has been a fascinating and fulfilling one over the past eight years. I began my career as a matchmove artist, where I honed my skills in tracking and aligning digital objects or characters with live-action footage. As time went by, I had the privilege of being promoted to Lead Matchmove, which allowed me to showcase my leadership abilities and work closely with a talented team.
Currently, I am proudly serving as a Senior Layout TD, where I am responsible for creating the foundation of every shot by positioning the camera and characters with precision and creativity. My role demands an acute attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for crafting visually compelling scenes.
Throughout my journey, I have embraced challenges with enthusiasm and a drive for continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with fellow artists and departments has taught me the value of teamwork and the power of creativity when united.
My journey has been shaped by my commitment to learning, adaptability, and the genuine love I have for what I do. Beyond the technical skills, I believe that cultivating a positive and supportive work environment is essential for fostering creativity and delivering exceptional results.
As I move forward, I remain eager to keep expanding my knowledge and expertise in this ever-evolving industry. DNEG (Dec 2022 – Present), Mumbai (WFH).
- Senior Layout TD
Validation of MM, dependency check, handling team in absence of lead. Responsible for 3d-rerack, scene reposition, Anim Blocking and to match the look and feel of the layout as per ref if provided.Technicolor (Sep 2018 – Dec 2022), Mumbai.
- Lead Matchmove/RotoAnim
I joined Technicolor (Trace vfx) as a mid level tracking artist. With time I was promoted to Senior and then to Lead. I got the opportunity to Train freshers as well. Handled multiple shows, creating briefs in absence of Sups, co-ordinating with prods and other dept supervisors.
