The reason why I decided to make a page about this is because it is so valuable and it always baffled me. Maybe someone will find it interesting to see this.
I don't know who originally on the Tespa Team advocated for the Dalaran Flame Cardback in Hearthstone. I just remember getting the blessing of someone on the Hearthstone team to make the cardback pin and providing me the vendor's name.
Thousands of them were made and by the time I left Blizzard Entertainment, there were plenty in inventory. I want to say I went through less than half of the total amount made.
The first iteration of the pin was delivered.
Talking with the vendor, we agreed it wasn't "pink" enough in the body of the card but I loved the cracks showing through.
I compared another cardback pin (apparently called "Thrill of Victory") with the first iteration and second iteration of the pin.
I really, really didn't like the solid color infill of the flame.
Pin done!
