Superheroes Wallpapers does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect personal information about you.
No sign-up, no email, no profile, no login.
No advertising, no advertising ID, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK.
No tracking across apps or websites, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers.
Your favourites and settings stay on your phone. They are never uploaded.
The rest of this page explains the detail, including the small amount of technical information that any app connecting to the internet necessarily reveals to a server.
The app saves a few things locally so it can remember your choices between launches. This data lives in the app's own private storage, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Your favourites. The wallpapers you have marked are saved in full, rather than as references, so your saved list still works with no connection. Remove them by unfavouriting them in the app, or by uninstalling.
Your default sort preference. Whether you prefer shuffled, newest first, oldest first, or A to Z, so the gallery opens the way you left it. Change it any time in Settings.
A one-time flag recording that you have seen the swipe hint in the full-screen viewer, so it is not shown to you again. It is cleared by uninstalling the app.
Cached wallpaper images. Full-resolution files you have already downloaded are kept so that saving, sharing, and setting the same wallpaper does not download it three separate times. You can delete them whenever you like using Settings → Clear image cache, which also shows how much space they occupy.
None of this is personal information, and none of it identifies you.
To show you wallpapers, the app requests image listings and image files from our backend, which is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare R2 storage). These requests are anonymous: they carry no account, no user ID, no device ID, and no information you have entered.
As with any connection to any website or server, our hosting provider automatically receives and may log standard technical information as part of delivering and securing the service. That includes your device's IP address; basic request details such as the URL requested, the date and time, the HTTP status, and a generic user-agent string; and coarse, network-level information such as the country a request came from.
We use this only to operate the service, diagnose faults, and protect against abuse and denial-of-service attacks. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not attempt to identify you from it, and we do not combine it with anything else. Such logs are handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy practices and retained only for a short period in the ordinary course of running the service.
We operate no user database. There is no account record, no history of what you viewed, and no record of what you downloaded, favourited, or set as your wallpaper.
The app requests internet access, which it needs to download the wallpaper listings and the images themselves.
It requests permission to set the wallpaper, used only when you tap Set wallpaper and choose your home screen, lock screen, or both. Nothing is applied without you asking for it.
On Android 10 and older it also requests permission to write to storage, so that a downloaded wallpaper can be saved into its own album in your gallery. On Android 11 and above the app writes through the system media store instead, and this permission is never requested.
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, calendar, call logs, SMS, health data, files you did not choose, or the list of other apps installed on your device.
Saving places a copy of the image in an album in your device's gallery. It is then an ordinary file on your phone, governed by your own device settings.
Sharing hands the image file to whichever app you pick from the Android share sheet — a messaging app, an email client, or a social app. Once the file leaves this app, the receiving app's own privacy policy applies to it. We have no visibility into what you share, or with whom.
The app is a general-audience wallpaper gallery. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat, and no user-generated content. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to knowingly collect from a child. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no tracking or attribution SDKs. The only third parties involved are Cloudflare and Google Play.
Cloudflare hosts the backend that serves the wallpaper listings and the image files, and receives the technical request information described in section 2.
Google Play distributes the app. Google collects its own data about installs, updates, crashes, and any Play interactions under Google's privacy policy, independently of us. We receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics from the Play Console.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not transfer it to data brokers. We have nothing to sell or share.
Because the app stores your data only on your own device, you are in full control of it. You can clear downloaded images at any time in Settings → Clear image cache, and remove favourites by unfavouriting them in the app. Uninstalling removes every preference, favourite, and cached image the app created. Images you deliberately saved to your gallery remain, because they are now your files — delete them from your gallery app if you wish.
There is no server-side account to delete. If you would like to make a request about the technical logs described in section 2, contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Our backend is served from Cloudflare's global network, so requests are handled by the server nearest to you and technical log data may be processed in countries other than your own. The safeguards described in this policy apply wherever that processing takes place.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), or similar legislation — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to its processing. Since we hold no personal information about you and maintain no user records, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase. You are welcome to contact us at any time to exercise these rights or ask a question, and we will respond within the time allowed by the applicable law.
The app communicates with our backend over encrypted HTTPS connections. Everything the app stores stays inside its private, sandboxed storage area on your device, protected by Android's application sandbox. No system is perfectly secure, but as we hold no personal data on our servers, there is no store of user information to be exposed.
This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Marvel, Disney, or any other studio, publisher, or rights holder. All character names, titles, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. If you hold rights in an image in the app and want it removed, contact us at the address below and we will act promptly.
If we change how the app handles data — for example, if a future version adds a feature that collects something — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
This section is a reference for filling in the Play Console Data safety form so that the declaration matches this policy. It is not part of the policy itself and should be removed before you publish the page.

Note: images the app saves to your gallery are written by you, on your device, and are not "collected" for Data safety purposes. Server request logs held by your hosting provider for security and operations are generally treated as outside the "collection" definition, but review Google's current guidance before you submit.
