I am a Research Scholar of Economics at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University (CESP, JNU), New Delhi, India working under the supervision of Prof. Subrata Guha. Prior to that, I completed Master of Arts in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. During the Master's Program, I specialised in International Economics and Econometric Methods. The University Grants Commission, India, has awarded me the Junior Research Fellowship in 2020.
I am currently working on the interlinkages of International Trade and Economic Geography, primarily focused on the role of the Global Production Network, the spatial impacts it has among the countries and how it shapes the welfare trajectory of the participating economies.
Recently, I have been awarded the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Recent Development in Economic Research: Theory and Evidence in Macroeconomics International Trade and Open Economy Macroeconomics, hosted by the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University. I have also received a special mention at the Annual Conference on Economics and Finance organised by BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
