Porous Organic Polymers
Our research group focuses on the synthesis and characterization of various porous materials to unravel their diverse applications in the field of gas capture, heterogenous catalysis, drug delivery and other environmental remediations such as but not limited to: capturing iodine, dyes, bromine and oxo-anions.
We are also interested in investigating several organometallic compounds and tuning the host-guest chemistry of materials for heavy metal ion sensing and other subsequent applications.
