Parents- here is a possible way to explain this next step to your student: " now that we've come up with our own possible explanation and looked at what some of your classmates think the answer could be, we are going to watch a video to find out exactly why stars come out at night or can be seen at night and not druring the day. During this video there will be activitys/ notes to help us along the way, so I really want you to focus on being an active listener!"
*side note: I have made this video more interactive to include further explantion and comprehsions to really help your students solidfy their understanding. This video does ask for you and your child to experiment with a flash light so if that is something you need to grab before hand that may be best. Also dependent on your child's reading skill they may need assistance in reading what the video says and/or the questions/notes that I have posed to them.
At the end of the video please ask your student to tell you what they learned from the video and as them if they gathered enough information to answer the question.
