This policy describes the Chrome extension SuperSavvy Energy Calculator, provided by SuperSavvy. Its purpose is to help you estimate, compare and save household appliance electricity consumption and running costs. It does not describe SuperSavvy's Android apps, service bookings or the general business website.

Information processed on your device

The extension processes the appliance names, average power, daily usage hours, days per month and electricity rates you enter, along with comparison settings and saved appliance-plan items. Your current inputs, comparison setting and saved plan are kept in the extension's local browser storage on your device so they can be restored when you reopen it. The extension does not implement cloud synchronization.

The extension does not add its own encryption to this local storage. Please do not put passwords, financial-account details, personal identifiers or other sensitive information in appliance names.

No transmission, tracking or sale of calculator data

The extension does not transmit your calculator entries, comparison settings or saved plan to SuperSavvy or third parties. It has no sign-in, analytics, advertising, tracking software, background service or remotely hosted executable code. Its calculation scripts and assets are included in the extension package.

The extension does not request access to websites, browsing history, cookies, passwords, location or webpage content. It does not access Google account information or Google APIs. User information handled by the extension is used only for its disclosed energy-calculation purpose, not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes, and not used for creditworthiness or lending decisions.

Storage, retention and your controls

Saved calculation data stays in this browser profile until you change it, clear the relevant data or remove the extension. You can remove individual appliances or use Clear saved plan to remove saved plan items. Clearing the plan does not clear your current calculator inputs or comparison setting; these can remain in local storage. Removing the extension removes its extension-local stored data.

Export CSV creates a file on your device only when you choose that action. Exported files are separate from the extension's storage and are not removed when you clear the plan or uninstall the extension. You control whether to keep, delete or share those files. Browser-profile or device backups are controlled by your browser and operating-system settings, not by the extension.

Optional website links and support email

If you choose to visit supersavvy.in or send a support email, your browser or email application opens that destination. The extension does not append calculator values or saved-plan data to those links. The destination website and your email provider have their own privacy practices.

If you email SuperSavvy, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can handle your request. Support messages are not sent automatically by the calculator. Please avoid including passwords or other sensitive information.

This privacy-policy page is hosted on Google Sites. Google may process information about visits to the page under its Privacy Policy. Visiting this page does not send your calculator entries to Google from the extension.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated for the relevant version. The effective date above identifies this policy version.
