how to record a nokia s60 3rd edition screen on windows

1. go to the remote s60 website here

2. scroll down until you see "download" and 2 zip files

3. click on a link. it should either be solidfiles, mediafire, mir.cr, embedupload, or mirrorcreator

4. download the .zip file and unzip the file

5. there should be an .exe file and a .sis file

6. download the nokia PC suite here. it may look like a fileless file but its actually a .7z file, so use 7-zip if you have to

7. install nokia PC suite and connect to your nokia N73 using a usb

8. put the .sis file from earlier on the nokia

9. install the .sis file on your nokia (DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB CABLE FROM THE COMPUTER AND NOKIA N73 THIS WILL BREAK IT AND YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO RECORD YOUR SCREEN ON YOUR NOKIA S60 3RD EDITION)

10. install the .exe on your computer

11. run the program after installation

12. click connect

13. install a screen recorder for your PC. if you want to make funny moment clips, use fraps, but if you wanna make an actual video play a game like sims 2, use hypercam

14. open the app (fraps or hypercam 2)

1. if you are on hypercam 2, select the area you want to record (the phone)

2. if you are on fraps, it should automatically select the windows for you, and you can crop it in an editing software such as vegas pro or virtualdub.

15. start recording

now you can record some epic phone gameplay!
