Super Bright Flashlight combines flashlight tools with an Android home screen launcher. This policy explains our information practices and your choices.
1. App Features
The App is a home screen launcher with integrated flashlight tools, offering flashlight, SOS, screen light, scrolling text, weather, and search features.
Selecting the App as your default launcher changes the home screen interface without removing installed apps. You can switch launchers through Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Home App, or uninstall the App. Menu names vary by device.
2. Information and Permissions
We and our providers may process device details, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, advertising and app identifiers, usage and ad interactions, crash reports, selected cities, search queries, and information you send to support.
Permissions may include:
CAMERA: Controls the LED flashlight where required; not used to capture or upload photos or videos.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Displays, organizes, finds, and opens installed apps. App inventories are processed locally, are not sold or shared with advertising or analytics providers, and are not used for advertising profiles.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Displays notifications, including a persistent notification with tool shortcuts.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Maintains the service supporting the persistent notification and shortcuts.
Network access: Supports ads, weather, search, configuration, analytics, and diagnostics.
Where required, we provide in-app disclosures and obtain permission or consent before access. Permissions and notifications can be managed in Android settings.
3. Use and Sharing
Information supports features, weather and search results, reliability improvements, support, advertising, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Relevant information may be shared with service providers, or disclosed as legally required or necessary to protect users and our services.
Search queries are sent to the search provider. Weather and search providers may receive your IP address and request details. Where applicable, processing relies on consent, requested services, legitimate interests, or legal obligations.
4. Advertising and Third Parties
Advertising and analytics providers may process identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, usage events, and ad interactions under their privacy policies. Where required, we request consent for personalized advertising. Available choices can be managed through App privacy controls and Android advertising settings.
Third-party services include:
Google AdMob — advertising.
Google Firebase — analytics, diagnostics, and configuration.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — consent management.
Google Play Services — supporting Google service functionality.

5. Retention, Security, and International Processing
We retain information only as needed for the stated purposes and legal obligations. We use reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Providers may process information outside your country, with safeguards where required. Their retention practices follow their policies and applicable requirements.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage permissions, notifications, and advertising preferences, change launchers, clear App data, or uninstall. Clearing data or uninstalling does not automatically delete information already stored on remote servers.

7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or any higher applicable local age threshold. Contact us if you believe a child’s personal information was collected inappropriately, so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
