This Privacy Policy applies to the Super Hearing: Sound Amplifier mobile application, referred to in this policy as the “Application.”
The Application is provided by the Service Provider and is intended for use on an “AS IS” basis.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored and shared when you use the Application.
The Application may automatically collect limited technical, advertising, purchase and usage information when you download or use it.
Depending on the services available in your region, this information may include:

Advertising identifier
General Application interaction information
Advertisement impressions, clicks and interactions
Purchase and subscription status
Crash, performance and diagnostic information provided by Android or integrated services
The date, time and duration of Application use
Consent choices relating to advertising, where applicable
This information may be processed by third-party services used for advertisements, subscriptions, billing, security and service operation.
The Service Provider does not use microphone recordings for advertising purposes.
The Application requires access to your device’s microphone to provide its core functionality.
Microphone access is used to:
Capture surrounding sound
Amplify sound in real time
Apply volume boost
Apply supported noise reduction
Display a live audio waveform
Adjust the left and right audio balance
Create audio recordings when you select the Record option
Microphone access begins only when you use a feature that requires it, such as live listening or audio recording.
Live microphone audio is processed locally on your device. The Application does not upload or transmit your live microphone audio to the Service Provider’s servers.
The Application does not listen in the background or while the live-listening feature is inactive.
You can deny or revoke microphone permission at any time through your Android device settings. Live listening and recording features will not function without this permission.
When you tap Start Listening, the Application captures sound through your phone’s microphone, processes it locally and plays the amplified audio through the available audio output.
The Application may apply:
Live sound amplification
Volume boost
Android-supported noise suppression
Left and right audio balance
Audio limiting to help reduce clipping and distortion
Live audio is processed temporarily while listening is active. It is not saved unless you intentionally start a recording.
The Service Provider does not receive, access or remotely store your live-listening audio.
The Application allows you to intentionally record audio using your device’s microphone.
Recordings are:
Created only after you activate the recording feature
Saved in M4A audio format
Stored locally in the Application’s private storage
Displayed in the Recordings section with their name, date, time and duration
Available for local playback within the Application
The Application does not automatically upload, back up, sync, share or export your recordings.
The Service Provider does not receive or maintain a server-side copy of your recordings.
Recordings remain on your device until the Application’s storage is cleared, the recording file is otherwise removed from the device or the Application is uninstalled.
Uninstalling the Application may permanently remove all locally stored recordings.
The Application may save limited preferences locally on your device, including:
Selected language
Onboarding completion status
Volume level
Noise-reduction setting
Left and right audio-balance setting
Locally saved recording information
Other settings needed for the Application to function
This information is used to remember your preferences and operate the Application.

Depending on your region, device settings and consent choices, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.
Advertising providers may collect or process information such as:
Advertising identifiers

Advertisement impressions, clicks and interactions
