IONLAB has a HALION paper accepted in the upcoming CEAS Conference on Guidance, Navigation and Control 2024 (EuroGNC 2024) in Bristol, UK. Congrats Rajashree (Master) and Inês (Master)!!

IONLAB has two HALION papers accepted in the upcoming International Forum on Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics 2024 (IFASD 2024) in The Hague, Netherlands.
Inês (Master) and Rajashree (Master) presented in an informal workshop on Very Flexible Aircraft Simulation and Visualization using Unreal Engine, which was held in partnership with the University of Michigan's Active Aeroelasticity and Structures Research Laboratory (A2SRL).
Prof. Lustosa lectures drone embedded intelligence in the École Polytechnique's Executive Master.

Francisco (PhD) and Prof. Lustosa visit Delair headquarters in Toulouse to learn about their drone manufacturing operations. Thanks, Delair, for hosting us!

IONLAB joins forces with Prof. Drougard (ISAE-SUPAERO) to manufacture a vision-based automatic landing fixed-wing aircraft demonstrator using artificial intelligence techniques.
Carmelo (Master) presents a paper at Scitech AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition 2024 in Orlando, USA.
IONLAB visits Dron'Aero and has a lovely time in their new headquarters at Toulouse Francazal Airport.

Welcome new IONLAB Master students: Adrian Capelle-Dominguez, Andre Timofeyev, Apoorva Busunur-Mallikarjuna, Carmelo Simon-Soria, Javed Patan, Nil Rius-Fortuny, Pietro Bertolin, Vandana Dharmangadan-Sree, Yunfan Lu.
Javed (Master) has advanced to the final phase of the Dassault Drone Competition 2024. Congratulations, Javed! Keep on keeping on!
IONLAB participates in an Urban Aerial Mobility event from Toulouse Métropole, UAM Plazza, Aerospace Valley, with a short lecture from Prof. Lustosa.
Inês (Master), Rajashree (Master), Francisco (PhD), and Maciej (PhD) present their respective works on Flexible Aircraft at a department workshop on Flexible Aircraft.
Prof. Lustosa participates in a Deep Operation Simulation with the French 11th Parachute Brigade and discusses the tactical use of robots and drones in Deep Operations in the Battlefield.
Prof. Lustosa participates in a CNES StratoDrone Project consulting meeting.

Francisco (PhD), Rajashree (Master) and Prof. Lustosa demonstrate the HALION wing shape estimator technology in the Forum Innovation Defense 2023 in Paris with a real-time demonstrator mock-up.
