I’m throughly very glad to be with you in the best sport event from Finland.
First of all we at SCL would like to thanks the Mayors of Helsinki City, Juhana Vartiainen, Daniel Sazonov, Johanna Laisaari, Anni Sinnemäki e Paavo Arhinmäki for the invitation and also for all support that we have been get to develop Capoeira classes in the youth premises, sports hall and schools.
This is the real value what Capoeira deserves.
I want to thank God, the Orixás, my ancestries, my family, students, our partnerships, my Master Jorge Satélite and all Masters that have been dedicated their lives to put Capoeira in high grade as it is now.
Just for the recording we congratulate all athletes, coaches, cities and companies that got the award.
My friends I really love Capoeira and I believe in the potential of Capoeira, because it speaks by itself.
Capoeira is more than acrobatics, martial arts and dance it’s involves life’s philosophy.
It’s a really source of health and it promotes health benefits for all participants regardless age, gender, race, religion or economic social conditions.
If I could resume what is Capoeira, I can say that it’s humbleness, friendship, good food, snow flakes, sauna steam and urheilugaala.
Today the Capoeira is doing history in the sport of Finland.
