Fall 2022 was the first semester that the Potsdam Esports Club got to compete out of the Dunn 392 Esports Lounge after gaining access to the space in Spring 2022.
This new space became the home for the next generation of Potsdam Esports players. The club hosted a variety of teams and membership grew exponentially.
The Potsdam Esports club put a continued emphasis on events and content creation during the Spring 2023 semester. Campus conversations also began regarding a new space for the Potsdam Esports teams.
Other highlights from the year include:
Dr. Anthony Betrus and Colin Michaud hosting a NYSCATE presentation on esports within the Dunn space.
$17,000 of funding for new equipment provided by the SGA Capital Funds project
