The SUNY Potsdam Super Smash Bros. Ultimate "C" team picked up the first win in program history in a 3-0 shutout over the Keuka College "A" team.
In a three-round crew battle, the Bears swept the Wolves with each round going at least four matches.
Josh Kim (Ganon) and Patrick Silk (Snake) led the way in Round 1, with Silk earning victories of 2-1 and 3-1 over Cloud and Ganondorf.
In Round 2, Silk claimed the first two matches 3-0 over Simon and Zelda before dropping the third match to Ganondorf 3-2. Alexis Diaz (Daisy) clinched the round for Potsdam in the next match with a 1-0 victory over Ganondorf.
The third round started with a Ganondorf vs. Ganondorf matchup with Potsdam's version, controlled by Kim, emerging with a 3-2 win.
Adam Hartmann (Bowser) and Silk (Ganondorf) took victories in Match 3, 2-1 Bowser over Cloud, and 1-0 Ganondorf over Zelda to claim the battle for the Bears.
The "C" team will look to build on their first victory on October 14 when they face UAlbany.
