The SUNY Potsdam Super Smash Bros. Ultimate "A" team extended their win streak to three with a 3-0 win over Moravian College.
Tommy Harper (Peach) opened the contest for the Bears with games against Ness and Joker, taking four stocks.
Joker stuck around for the Greyhounds in Game 3, but Theo Cannamela (Bowser) was up to the challenge and left one stock on the table. Bowser returned for Game 4 against Mario, with Cannamela taking four more stocks for Potsdam.
Daren Mena (Pikachu) closed out the round in Game 5 with a win over Mario to clinch the round by three stocks.
Round 2 began with Harper, this time as Link, taking on Mario and Ike to take two stocks.
Mena and Pikachu returned for Games 3 and 4 against Ike and Joker respectively, taking five stocks in the process and winning the round for Potsdam by a single stock.
Cannamela opened Round 3 as the Pokemon Trainer and battled Bowser and Joker.
Keanu Wiens, playing as Zero-Suit Samus for the first time, took on Joker and Wolf in the final two games of the night. He took four stocks in his inaugural outing as ZSS to help lead the Bears to victory.
The "A" team returns to battle on Monday, November 11 when they take on Washington College in an ECAC matchup.
