Mission of our project

Hello everyone! My name is Mackenzie Winfield! I'm Lauren Frazer! I'm Anna Guzzo and we are three students at SUNY Oneonta's Math Education program. As math majors we have taken high-level math courses such as geometry, algebra, calculus, and analysis courses. These courses have helped us grow upon our learning that we had from middle school and high school experience. As student teachers about to enter our student teaching placements, we wanted the opportunity to review middle school and high school content while looking at it from a more sophisticated lens. We also wanted to incorporate different technologies, representations, and models that we've learned through our education courses in order to review these concepts. We've also included all New York State Next Generation Math Learning Standards that correspond with all of our content videos. Our hope is that other pre-service teachers can use these videos to learn from them as well as teach future students. Thank you for supporting our work and we hope you can benefit from the content.
