Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor of Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management in the School of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management at Troy University.
I received my Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management (PRTM) from Clemson University and previously served as a postdoctoral scholar at the Pennsylvania State University.
My research examines how tourism, leisure, and event experiences shape individual and community well-being. I use data analytics and applied econometric approaches to better understand the social and economic impacts of tourism, leisure, and events.
Outside of academia, you can find me traveling, cooking, exploring new places (including local events, new restaurants, and coffee shops), and watching sports-especially college football and baseball. Go Tigers, Nittany Lions, and Trojans!
Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect.
