Sunshines in the Rain is a family owned licensed childcare home. We pride ourselves in incorporating high level learning, engaging activities, curriculum, and compassion. Our little ones follow a daily schedule where they are in structured learning and engage in physical education, as well. Our sunshines begin their day with being welcomed in with open arms. They, then engage in numerous activities followed by lunch. Once our sunshines are done with lunch, they take a much-needed nap. After their naps, they have snack time followed by circle reading time, arts and crafts, music, and pre-k preparation. Activites vary by ages. At our licensed childcare, you will be rest-assured that your little one is safe and secure and optimizing their learning capacity each day in every aspect. Meet the Director/Lead Teacher/Founder
Welcome, everyone! My name is Shabana and I am the founder of Sunshines in the Rain Childcare. I have over ten years of childcare exprience and have operated Sunshines in the Rain for over six years now. I truly believe that each child is unique and special in their own way, and that is why I customize my lessons for each age group and child to maximize their learning. My teaching philiosophy is to ensure success of each child in every aspect by engaging them, challenging them, and providing love and support along the way. It is my passion to work with children and watching them grow. I also believe that children must have physical activity, therefore we incorporate yoga, exercising, dancing, and outside time (as weather permits). I am excited to meet you and your little one!
