ACE OF ACES
There are four weeks of qualifying rounds. Each qualifier, the low net score of that round (the Ace) qualifies to compete to become the Ace of Aces. You can only qualify once, so, if a low net winner has already qualified from a previous round, the 2nd low net winner becomes the qualifier for that round. If both 1st and 2nd net winners have already qualified, the 3rd place winner then qualifies, and so on until an Ace is dubbed. The final round is when the four Aces then play, with low net winning the Ace of Aces for the flight. If, for the final, a member who had previously qualified can no longer play in the final event, the final group will be limited to those successful qualifiers who play. All tie breakers will be handled by working from hardest hole to easiest hole, net score comparison, if there is still a tie after all 9 holes looked at, gross scores then will be used, hardest to easiest hole.
BJ LIND STABLEFORD
The BJ Lind Stableford will be played over a six-week period (runs concurrently with the Dollar Games). The format is individual stroke play and you earn points on each hole based on your net score for that hole. These points are then added together to give you that weeks' score. The best four weeks' scores will then be added together for your tournament score.
A net score earns you points:
Hole in One - 14 points
Triple Eagle or better - 12 points
Double Eagle (Albatross) - 10 points
Eagle - 8 points
Birdie - 6 points
Par - 4 points
Bogey - 2 points
Double bogey (or worse) - 1 point
SUNSET 9 CLASSIC
The Sunset 9 Classic will be played on July 31 and is a 2 person Chapman golf format. Teams will be randomly assigned. Handicap for the two person team will be 50% of their combined handicaps.
Both golfers on the team hit drives.
Each player plays their partners ball for the second shot.
The best of the second shots is selected, and from there the two partners play alternate shots into the hole.
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The Club Championship will be played on Thursday, August 7th and Thursday, August 14th. Prizes will be awarded to low gross (Club Champion) and overall low net. In addition, low net prizes will be awarded in each flight. You must have played five Thursdays during the season to be eligible to compete.
PICK-A-PARTNER
This Tournament is a Best Ball format. Choose a partner to play with beginning August 21through September 18. Each pair will have a scorecard in the clubhouse each week, with current handicaps and pops for each hole. Best 3 games of 5 will be used to determine winners.
