LIRR Caboose 13
Long Island Railroad Caboose 13 was built in 1911, and was one of 24 "Hacks" (bobber cabooses) on the LIRR built from 1899-1911. It saw its fate in 1927, along with 5 others that had survived until then. The Hack's number series was taken by the N52s, but the numbers 13, 17, 26, and 32 were never reassigned.
