Itinerary
Here is the preliminary itinerary for the trip:
3/22/26 Sunday night - Fly into Guatemala City. Arrive by 8pm. Transport by vans to Antigua. Check in at hotel and tuck in for the night. We will be lodging here through Thursday night.
--> Five nights lodging in Antigua at the Hotel Panchoy
3/23/26 Monday - Breakfast in Antigua, drive in vans to Escuintla to check on worksites and eyeglass clinic site, possible hardware store run for needed supplies, lunch in Escuintla, back to Antigua for dinner and evening activities (optional).
3/24/26 Tuesday - Breakfast in Antigua. Vans to Escuintla for water system installation #1 and eyeglass clinic #1. Return by dinner time.
3/25/26 Wednesday - Repeat of Tuesday for water system installation #2 and eyeglass clinic #2. Retrun by dinner time.
3/26 /26 Thursday - Catch up day to finish anything that needs to be done on water system installations. Day for Girls Clinic, if decision to do that. Possible tourism options. Dinner in Antigua (or on the road but end up at Antigua)
3/2726 Friday - Breakfast in Antigua then pack up check out and then some tourist activity(s). End up in Guatemala City to check into hotel and go to bed. Dinner probably on the road somewhere.
--> Final night lodging in Guatemala City at the Barcelo Guatemala City
3/28/26 Saturday - Wake up early and drive to the airport to fly home. Typically eat breakfast at the airport.
