Our news will be objective, well-written, well-edited, sensitive, and useful.
The Sun Online Times is your source for news and information about Black Americans. Our publication features original stories, diverse opinions, photos, videos, and recipes from African, Haitian, Creole, and Black culinary traditions. We aim to enhance our audience's understanding of culture , education, economics, and politics and their impact on Black lives especially those who are often marginalized and unseen.
The Sun Online Times understands that a commitment to diversity is critical to fulfilling its mission, and works to embrace the cultural traditions, beliefs, and viewpoints of all its readers.
The Sun Online Times is published on the first day of every month with a 10,000 initial print run. We will also have a very robust online presence that will be updated on a daily/weekly basis. Over 300 distribution pickup stations spread throughout South Louisiana will help in reaching a diverse readership
