It is estimated that about 2,00,000 children are born every year in India with Congenital Heart Diseases (CHD). Of these only about 2% receive proper treatment. The rest are left to fend for themselves since their parents donot have the resources for Corrective Pediatric Heart Surgeries. District 3141 has a tie up with super specialty hospitals in Mumbai for performing such surgeries at special rates for Rotary. Between 1st Nov 2012 and 25th July, nearly 1400 surgeries have been successfully performed...
