Vision and Mission:

The vision of Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate School is to nurture the promise of our children. Across various content areas, the purpose of Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate is to provide a safe and caring environment through the support of restorative discipline and positive support and praise. Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate will aspire to prepare students to be independent, life-long learners with the expectation to apply acquired knowledge in society. Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate students will be expected to demonstrate acquired knowledge through performance tasks and traditional measures of success.

The mission of Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate School is to inspire and empower all children to learn, hope, dream, contribute, excel, create, and appreciate. Our school and community embraces a philosophy grounded on the idea that STEM offers a framework for problem solving in an increasingly complex world.
