Hello! I am a Ph.D candidate at UC Berkeley in the Agricultural & Resource Economics department.
I am on the academic job market in 2024-2025.
My research spans the economics of international development, environment & natural resources, and agriculture.
I use natural and field experiments informed by innovative econometric tools to evaluate the causal impacts of large transformations, such as deforestation, infrastructure and agriculture on the economic lives of local populations. These estimates, combined with microeconomic theory, inform specific policy proposals for ensuring social and environmental justice which I then test empirically at scale.
Prior to starting my Ph.D, I was a Research Associate at Evidence for Policy Design, Harvard Kennedy School of Government. My undergraduate degree is from the College of Wooster with a double major in Economics and Mathematics.
