In many countries across Africa there is a mandatory fee for children to attend school.
These mandatory fees are due every semester. The fees are an expense many poor households cannot afford, leading to the continuation of poverty, as children are unable to attend school and obtain an education.
Our program covers school fees, a new uniform, and school supplies.
To foster inclusive and sustainable development, we support the education and training of women.
We believe that women and girls are the cornerstone of transformation.
Our programs rely on gender mainstreaming to understand how men, women, girls, and boys will be impacted by our programming, which works to make communities more inclusive and equitable.
Women and girls are often excluded from education & employment opportunities. We're working to change that.

Environmentalism is a central part of our work. From alternative energy (solar lighting) to food gardens, we are green in our core.
We work in communities that have strong traditional dynamics which often leads to women and girls being excluded from educational and employment opportunities.
We are working in a respectful way to shift the mindset of rural communities to create more equitable gender dynamics.
Showcasing how all members of the family benefit from equal opportunities is a cornerstone of this project.
Our education program works to break the cycle of generational poverty by assisting the most vulnerable households in covering mandatory school fees.
In many African countries families must pay school fees for their children to attend school, which is unobtainable for many households.
Fighting food insecurity with local farmers and food gardens.
Food gardens were installed at Rutsya Primary School to help combat food insecurity in the district. With nutrition-rich foods being grown, students will have more energy to focus on their education.
Part of the food garden project also focuses on sanitation to reduce food borne illness.
