Sunny Liu

Welcome! 

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As an applied microeconomist, I study questions in Labor and Public Economics.

I will be on the academic job market during the 2025–2026 cycle.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I received a B.A. from Northwestern University and served as a predoctoral fellow at a J-PAL affiliated lab at the University of California, San Diego.

I am on the 2025 - 2026 Job Market.
