Ø Studies in social work with focus on fieldwork for children and teenagers with social, domestic, school, and drug problems.

Ø Part of team mentoring foster homes all over Sweden.
Ø Foster parent for teenage boy in a critical stage.

Ø Team leader of projects for children and parents with physical handicaps of ages from new born to teens, as well as children of all ages with Down’s syndrome.

During a period of ten years I took several courses at Folkuniversitetet of Stockholm, both part/ half time and evening courses in painting, sculpture and scenography. Also part of an artist collective, sharing studio and models fort sculpture during that period.

Ø Visited special Art schools for children and teenagers in Finland organized by the community. They worked in different technics through “playful seriousness”. Took interest in Reggio Emilia pedagogic(Italy) and Bifrost theme work with children in Denmark. Bifrost school starts every day by reading a book loud together free for the children then to choose how to investigate the story in different subjects and art technics, having many art studios.
1989-1999 / Started a special arts project in Rinkeby,” School of Arts” for children groups of ages 6-16 years with education for community personal and all teachers. The school t was permanented and run during 10 years. Rinkeby is a suburb with 90 % I immigrants from all the world but mainly Afrika and Asia. The goal for the school was to give opportunities to all children to meet Artforms and cultures in different kinds of technics and themes. Day-care personal and teachers in the area came every week with their groups and also had separate education every year. Parents were also welcome to participate to see and understand what their children was doing Some technics and materials could be forbidden in different countries but was usually accepted seen how they were performed. Another goal was learning Swedish as a second language through speaking about Arts and the children’s own pictures and experiences. It was a fantastic work with freedom to experiment and work from the children’s different interests.

Commissioned life-sized sculpture group made in bronze
Ø Created life sized bronze sculpture for an apartment complex built by the side of an old closed railway station transformed into a company hotel. Worked in close contact together with the architect on squelches, kiln forming, welding and installation.

2005 After seeing an exhibition with Swedish sandcasting artist Bertil Vallien I took interest in glass casting. Since then I have taken intensive courses when given the chance. Bertil recommended Northlands Creative school when asked on possibilities for education for adults. Now years later I could make it possible to attend.

2008-2015 Working in my own studio, while taking care of my mother having Alzheimer and cancer.
From 2015 and onwards I now concentrate only on my art.

2017 I have started working with raku again exploring how to combine it with glass portraits.
The materials work well together in black and white but has also many possibilities with for example coppers that can give different colours from turquois to firing red. Participating in Raku work shop for Ojo Rojo, Husby Gård Stockholm
