Periarthritis of shoulder Case

Ms.Wu, 30 years old, Accountant. 07/15/2020 seeing a doctor. She has left shoulder pain and limited

movement of the joint shoulder two months. The pain radiates to neck and arm hand. When she does things with left hand and at night, it felt so much painful. Examination: She bring her arm Forword is 45 degree and raise it out to the side is 70 degree, she bring arm back her fingers only to belt. Diagnosis: Periarthritis of shoulder. Protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc case

Mr. zhang, 52 years old, engineer. 03/06/2021 seeing a doctor. He felt in low back, left back thigh and outside liwer leg painful and numb 10 days after he bent down forward did something too much. It's worse when he standing, walking and sit for too long. It's getting some better when he was lying down. Examination: The patient has difficulty getting up and bending down. The lumbar spine bends to the healthy side,lumbar muscle was tightening. Using thumb to pressed on L4-5 left side, it's felt painful and the pain and numb went down to left leg  and foot. The straight left leg – raising test was 30 degree. MRI: L4-5 protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. Diagnosis: Protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. Treatment: Acupuncture; Manual therapy; Traditional Chinese medicine external apilication. Treatment outcome: After three course  of treatment, patient improve and symptoms mostly gone.

张先生,52 岁,工程师,2021年3月6日初诊。患者10天前因弯腰做事3小时后出 现腰痛,2天后出现左大腿后侧及小腿外侧疼痛。卧床休息后疼痛减轻,久站久坐久行痛甚,坐起起床弯腰困难。捡查:病人躺下、起床、弯腰困难。腰脊柱向健侧弯,腰肌紧张,L4-5之间左侧压痛并放射到左下肢。左直腿抬高试验为30度。MRI: L4-5椎间盘突出。诊断:腰椎间盘突出症。治疗:针灸、手法、中药外敷。效果:经过3个疗程治疗,病人症状基本消失,临床治愈。
