Research Interests

I'm mostly interested in new transport and optical effects caused by quantum geometry in topological systems like Dirac and Weyl semimetals. I'm also interested in the transport and optical properties of different two-dimensional systems, especially moiré systems like twisted bilayer graphene, homo- and hetero-structures of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD), and so on. While broadly these defines my current research interest, however, I am interested to work on other stimulating topics in condensed matter physics.

We use different formalisms to study transport and optical properties, depending on the specific problem at our hand. Here is a brief overview of the frequently used Boltzmann transport formalism, which is not only easy to understand but also the most intuitive one (in my opinion).
