Dr Sunil Kumar P V

I am an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad and currently serve as the Faculty-in-Charge, Faculty Welfare. My research interests lie at the intersection of Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, and Graph-based Data Analytics, with a focus on developing computational methods for solving biological problems. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy simplifying complex concepts through intuitive explanations and practical examples. My broader academic interests include algorithm design, data structures, and mathematical foundations for computer science. I am committed to fostering excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration while contributing to institution-building and the development of future computing professionals.
