Top Right Slide 3 and 4- Intro To Studio Art Sculpture, Mother Zodiac, getting inspiration from Renaissance ideas of the body being influenced by certain deities, this piece includes: origami animals, bottles, a jean jacket, tissue paper, and drawings of stars from my classmates.
Middle Left- Sculpture Project 2, Air and Blow Up Project, Origami Swan, different angles shown from a video here, motion activated, and brought to life only when the viewer gives it purpose, pushes against the concept of flat and perfect lines.
Middle Right- Final Sculpture Project, "The Fall of Dionysus", Made using 3D objects and combined and manipulated, depicting the god of wine being constantly poured versions of himself surrounded by a friend who is turning away, and one that is obscured completely. Dealing with themes of alcoholism and how you feed your own addiction and how it can hurt you and those around you.
