Sunflower Meadows

We are the Meerman family. We have been farming in Coopersville for 5 generations. We raise livestock and grow crops for sale and animal feed.

We started growing sunflowers a few years ago and loved to see them out in the field. We wanted other people come out to enjoy the beauty of it too.

Our belief in regenerative organic agriculture:

~ As a certified organic farm we use zero sprays or synthetic fertilizers to grow our crops and use no hormones, antibiotics or GMO's in raising our livestock.

~ We are stewards of the land and must maintain and improve the health of the soil and environment using organic regenerative practices

~Variety and rotation are some of the ways we help improve the soil and give our livestock a balanced diet. We try not to use monocultures in raising our crops.

~We believe Family Farms are essential to thriving rural communities. Won't you join ours?
