The SUNFLOWER project is supported by SNSA, DLR and the ESA Education Office as part of the REXUS/BEXUS Programme.
Our project wouldn’t be possible without the support of key organizations that believe in innovation, education, and sustainable space exploration. We are proud to collaborate with both institutional and industrial partners that help us bring SUNFLOWER to life.
The REXUS/BEXUS programme offers university students across Europe the opportunity to design and launch their own experiments into the stratosphere. Thanks to this initiative, our team is able to bring SUNFLOWER aboard the BEXUS 36 balloon, testing our technologies in near-space conditions with access to professional-grade facilities and support.
Swedish National Space Agency
SNSA co-manages the REXUS/BEXUS programme and supports space research and education at the European level. Thanks to their collaboration, SUNFLOWER is flying aboard BEXUS 36.
German Aerospace Center
DLR provides technological support, launch services, and coordination through the REXUS/BEXUS programme, fostering student-driven space experimentation.
European Space Agency
ESA enables the participation of student teams from across Europe in the REXUS/BEXUS programme and provides expert guidance to the SUNFLOWER team during development and integration.
Swedish Space Corporation
SSC supports our team by providing launch operations and logistical coordination throughout the BEXUS campaign. Their role includes ensuring the safe integration and launch of our experiment from the Esrange Space Center in Sweden.
Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity
ZARM is responsible for the overall coordination and integration of the student experiments into the gondola.
Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Padova
The Department of Industrial Engineering (DII), Aerospace section, offers our team academic and infrastructural support, including laboratory access and expert supervision. Their contribution is fundamental to the scientific and technical development of the SUNFLOWER experiment.
We thank our partners for believing in the next generation of space innovators.
