Privacy Policy

SUNDOWN: Western Duels is developed by Bari Cohen. This policy explains the information used by the game and its online features.
Information the game uses
The game stores settings, progress, and your personal best on your device. For online features, Firebase creates anonymous account identifiers without asking for an email address or password. These identifiers can still distinguish one installation from another.
If you use the leaderboard, we store your chosen player name, best eligible completed-run score, completion information, and submission timestamps. Your player name and score may be visible to other players. Do not use your real name or other personal information as your player name.
The game also sends gameplay balance statistics: stage number, outcome, time taken, shots, hits, points, whether it was a first encounter, run identifier, game and balance versions, platform, and receipt timestamp. These records are associated with a separate anonymous Firebase identifier and help us understand where the game is too easy or too difficult.
Why we use this information
We use this information to operate the leaderboard, save and synchronize eligible scores, prevent invalid submissions, and improve game balance and reliability. The Android version from version 1.1 includes Google AdMob interstitial advertising. The current closed-test build uses Google's test ads. Earlier versions without the advertising SDK do not perform this advertising-related processing.
Android advertising
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or other identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. Android advertising-ID controls are available in your device settings. Where applicable in versions serving live ads, the game requests privacy choices and provides an Ads Privacy entry in Settings when required. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Service providers
Google Firebase provides authentication and database hosting. Information sent to these services may be processed on servers outside your country. Firebase and its infrastructure may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses, to provide and protect the service. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Storage and deletion
Online scores and gameplay records are retained while needed for the features and purposes described above. To delete the data associated with this installation, open the gear on the home screen, choose Delete My Data, and confirm. This removes the anonymous accounts used by the game, their leaderboard and gameplay records, pending uploads, and the local personal best. An internet connection is required. If deletion is interrupted, return to Settings to resume it. Anonymous aggregate statistics that cannot be linked to you may remain.
Delete My Data covers the game's Firebase records and local data described above; it does not delete data independently processed by Google Mobile Ads. Use your Android and Google privacy controls for advertising-related data.
Using online features again after deletion creates a new anonymous account. Removing the app alone does not automatically delete server records. For access or correction requests, or if your version does not yet show the deletion option, contact us through the Support page. We may need information to identify the relevant records and verify the request.
Support messages
If you contact us, we receive the contact information and details you choose to send. We use them to handle your request. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed to investigate the issue.
Children
The game contains stylized combat and is not designed for young children. We do not knowingly request personal contact information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us about data they believe was provided by a child.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the game changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, use the Support page of this website.
