Photochromic is a compound word made of “Photo” meaning light, and “chroma” meaning color.
The reversible pigment is almost colorless (pale color) without sun, but turns into vibrant rich color with sun exposure. The powder or slurry shows brilliant color when exposed to sunlight. The shade of color it changes to depends on the intensity of the light.

“Photochromic(포토크로믹)”은 빛을 뜻하는 “Photo” 와 색깔을 뜻하는 ”chroma” 의 합성어로써 빛에 의해서 색상이 바뀐다(광변색, 光變色)는 것을 의미합니다.
Photochromic Dye는 광변색 염료로써, 분말 형태이며, 햇빛에 노출 시 선명하게 발색되고, 햇빛이 제거 되면 다시 본래의 색으로(미색) 돌아갑니다. 포토크로믹 염료는 광변색 염료, 감광 색소 등으로 불리우기도 합니다.

Micro-encapsulated Photochromic Pigments are micro-encapsulated particles having photochromic dyes in them. These Micro-encapsulated particles, just like the normal Photochromic dyes, changes color with the slightest touch of the sun, and returns to its original state without sun exposure.
Microcapsules acts as protection and improves stability of dyes.

Our MAGENTA Photochromic Pigment changes from powdery white to deep magenta under the slightest sunlight.
The color can change from rose pink in a rainy day, to deep magenta color from a beautiful orchid.
자홍색 포토크로믹 피그먼트는 흰색에서 아주 약간의 햇빛 만으로도 순식간에 진한 자홍색으로변합니다.
햇빛 아래서 발현되는 색은 옅은 장미색에서 짙은 난색까지로서, 햇빛의 강도와 각도에 따라 아름답게 변합니다.

Our VIOLET Photochromic Pigment will turn from white to pretty violet immediately.
The color is pastel violet in the morning but can change to vibrant violet in the afternoon.
보라 포토크로믹 피그먼트는, 흰색 가루에서 보라빛으로 변합니다.
새벽빛이나 비오는 날에는 파스텔 톤의 보라색이지만, 오후의 햇빛 아래에서는 붉은 보라부터 진한 보라색까지 멋진 색상을 나타냅니다.

The color varies from pastel yellow early in the morning, to rich yellow in the afternoon.
노랑 포토크로믹 피그먼트는, 평범한 밀가루색에서 눈깜밖하는 사이에 개나리색으로 변합니다.
특히, 오전 햇빛 아래서는 파스텔 옐로우색을 띄고, 오후 햇빛 아래서는 정말 선명하고 진한 노란색으로 변합니다.

The color, depending on your needs, can change from deep emerald blue to purple blue, or just simple blue.
