While people usually focus all of their attention on the type of racquet they purchase, often little thought is put in to the string. Why? Sure the racquet has a big impact on the shots produced, but it's actually the string that makes contact with the ball ('framers' don't count) and and is the point of energy transfer. Different strings offer different benefits ranging from increased spin, control, tension maintenance, comfort and more!

Your tension can be set at what ever you like (usually between 45lbs - 60lbs). Generally when the tension is set higher, the user will have greater control and feel, but less power and comfort. Lowering the tension will give greater comfort and power, but also sacrificing control and feel for some players.
