SunBioClock is designed as a local wellness tool for showing solar timing, circadian rhythm guidance, bedtime recommendations, and related widget information.
SunBioClock requests approximate and precise location permission so it can calculate sunrise, sunset, solar phases, and local circadian timing for your area. Solar calculations are processed locally on your device.
The app may store the latest latitude and longitude locally so the clock and widget can continue working when a fresh location is not available. SunBioClock does not upload your location to its own server.
When SunBioClock resolves a nearby place name, Android’s system geocoding service may process the selected coordinates.
When you open the 3D location picker, the app downloads Cesium resources from jsDelivr and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. These services may receive network information such as your IP address. Map tile requests correspond to the geographical area displayed on the globe.
SunBioClock does not operate these services and does not send your coordinates to a SunBioClock server.
Google Calendar synchronization is optional and is available only with an active SunBioClock Plus subscription.
If you enable this feature and grant calendar permission, SunBioClock reads the names of your device calendars and selected event details needed to display calendar milestones and related recommendations.
Calendar data is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to a SunBioClock server. Calendar synchronization is disabled by default and can be disabled at any time in Settings.
SunBioClock may request notification permission to show bedtime reminders.
The optional intensive bedtime notification may display a short bedtime animation over other applications. This feature requires the appropriate Android overlay and alarm permissions and is available only with a SunBioClock Premium or Plus entitlement.
The app does not use these permissions to collect, transmit, or store personal data.
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. SunBioClock receives purchase status and product information from Google Play but does not receive or store your full payment card details.
SunBioClock does not require an account and does not sell personal data.
The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics. Data may be processed by Google Play, Android system services, jsDelivr, and OpenStreetMap only when the related functionality is used, as described in this policy.
SunBioClock stores app preferences locally on your device, including visual settings, sleep preferences, calendar synchronization choices, and cached location data.
Android may back up eligible app data to your Google account according to your device backup settings and the app’s backup configuration.
SunBioClock may use device motion sensor readings while the app is open to animate visual effects. These readings are used locally and are not stored or shared by SunBioClock.
SunBioClock provides general wellness and informational guidance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
For medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
