This project involved creating a bulletin board in the residence hall that would showcase something useful to the residents. It would stay up for a month.
The reason behind making the bulletin board is a place to put information as well as it being something decorative on the walls of the hall.
The inspiration for the bulletin board is the Tiger's Curse series by Colleen Houck. It is also tied with the theme of the door decorations for that year, which was also for the Tiger's Curse series: the Tiger's Paw Print, the Armband, and the White Tiger whiteboard art.
The board reads:
Don't Be Like A Tiger, Socialize!!

"To have regret is to be disappointed with yourself and your choices. Those who are wise, see their life like stepping stones across a great river. Everyone misses a stone from time to time. No one can cross the river without getting wet. Success is measured by your arrival on the other side, not on how muddy your shoes are."
-Colleen Houck, Tiger's Voyage
The inspiration for this bulletin board is the fact that tigers are most of the time lone animals. And it is encouraging the residents to socialize.
This title was written by hand and then cut out. Then I came up with ideas on how to be social. Then I found a quote from one of the books that was relevant. The border was made from a note pad that I needed to use up.
