I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Uppsala University.

My research interests lie in macroeconomics, labor economics, and macro-finance. I study how labor market policies and frictions shape workers' decisions, the distribution of income, and broader economic outcomes.

In my job market paper, I study how firms' wage-setting power affects the allocation of productivity risk between workers and shareholders, and what this implies for asset prices.

In my other work, I investigate how minimum wage increases affect labor force participation, using evidence from Turkey.

I am on the 2026–2027 academic job market.
