The Quarantine Island, where all shipments incoming go for observation to ensure no pests, diseases, or other disasters make their way into the Archipelago. The island is circular, multi-tiered, networked with well-maintained roads, and boasts a huge series of warehouses, tanks, and cold-houses to store a variety of foods of all sizes. Visitors to the Archipelago often have their first taste of the Cuisine of the Gods here while waiting for admittance onwards, so the restaurant competition is second only to Non-Pareil. Local politics is officially under the Council, but realistically completely in the control of the Martin family, one of the 10 Great Families (wild game & meats).
Dilapidated & decaying home of Old Amanita, closest source of the wild-picked mushrooms for the Archipelago. Her decrepit mansion has seen better days, and currently suffers a lack of farmhands & caretakers.
The Ring of nations that shield and protect the Archipelago, apart from the one sea-entry in from the wider world, which, by agreement, they patrol against Pirates.

Velpuchar is a constitutional aristocracy, led by Duke Petrichor. The current greatest threat to the nation is an active volcano, which is held in bay, according to popular belief, by the strict adherence to their past virtues when the Paladin of the Hero's Party retired to this spot.
The people of Velpuchar live rough lives, though they do not lack for basic foods, as supplied by the Archipelago. Their days are regulated by the series of Edicts handed down by the Hierophant, which has recently reached 118 sets ranging from choices of clothing to public displays of art.
Built upon the virtues of intense labor, this nation is now among the most self-reliant countries in its corner of the world. Their fuel production and trade are among its current greatest strengths, though they lack a little in natural resources beyond trees. There are no real opposing groups against the current leadership, but history has shown that can change swiftly.
The people of Docor live moderately prosperously, and while natural resources might be lacking, their position in trade, both above- and below-the-table help considerably. The people of Docor have strong ties to the spiritual in nature, and switch modes back and forth between the formal and informal, depending on the circumstance.
