- Draft Bylaws
Summitview Probus Club Members,
At the July General Meeting, those members in attendance were asked to approve the new by-laws for Summitview Probus Club.
As a new Cub, we are required to adopt a number of governance documents. We have previously adopted a Constitution. Adopting by-laws, which document how we will govern our Club, is the final step.
These proposed Summitview Probus Club by-laws have been framed against the form of bylaws for clubs suggested by Probus Canada (https://www.probuscanada.ca/club-reference-guide/key-documents/suggested-bylaws) and amended and tailored to fit with the needs and procedures of our Club. The Summitview Management Committee has reviewed and approved the proposed by-laws in the attached form.
Please review the attached Draft By-laws document. Should you have any questions about its contents please reach out to the chair of the by-law committee Judy McAdam at mcadam.hunt@sympatico.ca prior to July 5th.
